The local farm difference

Did you know that 80% of flowers purchased in the United States are produced internationally? The carbon footprint of shipping alone is enormous! These flowers are also treated with harsh chemicals to prevent pests from crossing borders and often harvested weeks before you actually receive them. That sweet scent of your store-bought flowers? It could actually be a perfume, rather than the natural scent of the bloom.

Our flowers are locally grown using regenerative and sustainable methods to protect the environment. We use a no-till gardening method, focused on feeding the soil and nurturing the biology in it that makes it possible to grow our flowers.

Brandy Brook Flower Farm is located just outside Ellenville, NY. We grow on a small space, but we aim to make a big impact by spreading happiness through our blooms and caring for our environment through the local flower movement. Buying locally means you know where your flowers come from and how they were grown. Plus, you're supporting a woman-owned business and contributing to the local economy.
